Pinnaiyur  is a  village of Orathanadu Taluk and it is located 8 km south. This village has several temples including Sivan, Vinayaga, Murugan and Ayyanar temples. The former Thiruvonam M.L.A. Mr. Ramachandran, also called Mr. MR, and the IAS officer Mr. PanneerSelvam are from this village. Many people in this village are well educated. One of the world famous breast cancer scientist, Dr. Muthusamy Thangaraju, is working as an assistant professor in the Medical College of Georgia, USA. And many other science student are still working in research field. Our president is working very good. and our vice president  also working very good. Since our school history is very powerful.
